Vintage Bottle from Brotherhood Wine Co, Believed From 1940s, Used (C3).
Brotherhood Wine is oldest winery in country. This bottle has been buried for decades in the ground. Cannot date bottle with certainty but believed to be from early 1940s.
Embossing states:
“FULL QUART” at the shoulder with maker mark between the words.
“BROTHERHOOD WINE CO
REGISTERED” is printed around the bottom
Item is quite dirty from being underground for so long, will need a good washing.
Several marker bubbles visible in the glass.
No chips or cracks visible but does have surface flaws, assumed from being buried.
No threading at neck, made for cork closure.
This is a nice bottle for your collection from a company that has a long rich history. With a bit of cleaning it could really be a showstopper
