    Description

Early Loetz Phänomen Genre 377 Iridescent Art Glass Vase.
Condition is excellent as made no damage, no restoration. Circa 1900.
    61/2" tall.
This unusual seldom seen pink PG 377 stands 6.5" tall. Typically the entire body is covered in the lava type decoration. On this example we see the pink ground allowed to show thru on the top. This allows for the bright iridescence on the bottom to show off its contrast. It has a great form, sort of a "tied bag shape".
Loetz was the main competitor to American art glass made by Tiffany and Quezal from the early 1900s.
