    Description

    This vintage early 20th century glass Art Nouveau period designed lamp shade was produced by the Loetz Glass Company in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. It has a unique stalactite form. The glass is exceptional, featuring an iridescent opalescent body accented with deep cranberry color threaded “drip” motif. The closed tip of the shade has a mottled green pattern that complements its form. The Loetz shade is supported on a decorative beaded brass cap suspended from a brass link chain attached to a brass ceiling cap. A marvelous ensemble in excellent condition for a collector with a great eye !
