late SHOWA Era (1926-1989)
Japanese hand carved wood mask of the renown Noh character HANNYA.
The HANNYA
mask is about 31cm (12 1/5") long
, 21cm (8 1/4") wide,
950 grams
and in good overall condition.
The Noh character HANNYA is actually not a devil nor a demon.  The HANNYA is a scorned jealous woman.

has small nicks,
a scuff(s),
mark(s),
repaired horn (photos #5, #9, #10), wear, etc..
The rope/string has discoloration but it can be replaced or dyed.
