This is a very unusual and rare bottle manufactured in Oakland California by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company. It was a a cheap wine, with french spelling of the word "Connoisseur". Per the numbers on the glass and collaboration with a glass expert, this is either 1937 or 1947. It has some water staining inside the bottle, but the lid is rusted and I did not want to remove it to clean the bottle. If you wish to open the bottle, vinegar will probably remove the water stain. The bottle is 10" tall, 6 inches wide and over 3" thick. One Half Gallon is written on the back. The bottom has "wine", the diamond with circle emblem on "Owens", number 20 on the right and 7 on the left of the mold mark. The sunlight catches a turquoise and purple sheen near the top of the bottle.
This weighs nearly 3 pounds. There are inside cracks on the inside at the botrom. Other than that its very good condition.
