1893 Report from the Committee on Indian Affairs recommending for the passge of a substitute bill authorizing the Interoceanic Railway Company to construct a railway, telegraph and telephone lines through the Indian and Oklahoma Territories and a Report from the Committee on Foreign Affairs recommending for the passage of a bill (with amendments) to prohibit the coming of Chinese persons into the United States and to permit persons of African descent to become witnesses in a court of law.
