Biography: RIDDLE, Frank J., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, January 10, 1870 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; attended public schools; completed trade of winding stair builder and journeyman carpenter; member, draft board No. 11, Allegheny County (World War I); construction, Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad Company and the Pennsylvania Railroad Company (1891-1893); boat-builder, William Michels and Company (1893-1895); general foreman of all construction work, Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company (1894-1906); proprietor, hay, feed and grain business (1906-1920); justice of the peace, Turtle Creek; elected, council, Turtle Creek; elected, school director (1906); engaged in real estate and Insurance; coal operator; elected in a Special Election as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on January 5, 1926; Sworn-In, January 13, 1926 to serve the remaining 1925 term; reelected for 3 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1932, 1934); died, September 5, 1940 in Turtle Creek, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Church Hill Cemetery, Wilkins Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
