Nice small Loetz METALLIN Art Glass vase with Sterling Silver overlay, c. 1890 -1910 The vase has an exterior finish that looks like guilloche enamel that was achieved by using ground crystal powdered with silvery gray dust with a green covering layer. The Metallin line was most often found either Sterling Silver or copper overlay decoration. The Vase has Sterling Silver floral/line vines overlay, stamped on the silver edge,  "A symbol, Sterling", 126.5 grams, 4 1/4" tall, 2 1/4" across top, the number 15 is etched on the bottom, fantastic condition, light wear to silver overlay, as pictured.
