This car had an early in its life driver side front accident but only has 44,000 ACTUAL miles on it and is the very rare and desirable yellow SPORT with the 5 speed manual transmission, the 20 valve turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, along with the yellow paint. This car runs and drive like a 44k miles car. There are NO driving issues here with this car because of wear and tear or because of the salvage/rebuilt title. It does have the P0455 code,so research this for yourself to see if this will be a problem for you. The headliner also needs replacing to make nice again. The power windows are slow going up and need help and the airbag light is on. Did you hear/see this car has ONLY 44,000 ACTUAL miles on it TOTAL???? The brake pads front and back have been relaced very recently also. It is an auction car so I have no history other than what the Carfax said. The Carfax did look like the mileage was correct but please get your own Carfax if skeptical.

    Description

ONLY 44,000 ACTUAL MILES!!!!!!!This car is a very hard to find YELLOW SPORT trim of the iconic New Beetle line of VW's that were built from 1997 to 2019. It has the VERY desirable Yellow color , the 5 speed manual transmission, the 20 valve most powerful 4 cylinder turbocharged engine and the black cloth seats. This is a whole lot of car for ONLY 00!!! The bad is, this car has a salvage rebuilt title. It is very hard to see any evidence of an accident from looking it at but I would prefer that anyone interested in buying it would personally inspect it BEFORE buying it now and I REQUIRE that EVERYONE interested in buying it contact me BEFORE buying it now. This is NOT a buy it now and maybe I'll purchase it after I see it and think about it aucton. There is a 0 NOT refundable deposit REQUIRED with buy it now and unless I have obviously misrepresented something BIG this deposit is mine to keep no matter what "other" problem ANY buyer has with completing the purchase. This is MOSTLY why I REQUIRE ALL potential buyers contact me BEFORE pressing buy it now when selling anything in the thousands of dollars. It is much better to be safe than sorry. If a salvage title is a big worry for you in a 00, 44,000 mile car, then please keep looking elsewhere. PLEASE! Life is WAY to short. The only indicators of an accident physically that I have noticed are where the front driver side fender meets the body and that was only noticeable to me upon very close up inspection looking for a previous accident and knowing where the accident was by purchasing a Carfax. There is a very small gap as seen in the pictures. (A Carfax would be a great idea to do for anyone interested probably for a piece of mind on this cars history)(I have no other history on it because I got it at a dealers auction) I got my Carfax over 6 months ago also so, I can't share it because they are only viewable for a short while-30 or 60 days?. I bought this car for my girlfriend and she loves it but she is 60 and broke her ankle recently and has arthritis in her right fingers so the shifting bothers her injuries and my knee is worn out so I won't keep it as a possible gas saver because of that and because I already have too many vehicles so (Including another automatic TDI Diesel yellow bug 152k miles--ALSO for sale--see listing for details),I would keep the diesel but I need a 4 door and haverecently bought the car I think will replace my bugs.  I am now selling these very cool cars. Other issues are the ac is NOT working and I don't know why and can't fix it. I tried to give it a freon charge but it would not take it. My research is telling me that the system is full of air and needs to be evacuated before it can receive freon but am not sure this is the problem or the only problem. They sell the exacuation pump kits at Harbor freight bt I have not and and will not get that far. The car is sold as is. Both windows go up slowly also (common issue with this car I've heard) and both side need minor assistance (there's a simple but annoying trick to helping it it up ONLY--they go down easily. I replaced the driver side motor assembly (whole new unit) recently but I think it still needs adjustment and I have the motor/reglator assembly for the passenger side(whole new unit still in box--goes with the car) but did not, will not install it.--tedious but straight forward job. The rear hatch will also not lock but I am GUESSING that is a fairly minor problem also. The headliner is also starting to fall down on both sides and the rear and will probably need replacing to make nice again. It is also throwing a P0455 code which might just be a gas cap, I've heard but can't confirm that...Please research this to see if it is a deal breaker or not..Everything else about this car feels like a 44,000 mile car. It is a joy to drive and own and once the minor issues are fixed (or not?) this should give the next owner another 100,000 miles PLUS of driving, all for only 00. Ebay appears to be trying to force feed messages to me through a new app that my devices can't access. If you are trying to contact me and not getting a response TEXTorCall 9104672839. You will need to leave a message if you call because I screen my calls and don't answer the phone to #s I don't know. Thanks for looking and good luck.
