    Description

This is a Mid Century vintage stoneware Beameister wine bottle produced for Jim Beam but imported from Germany.  The vintage white bottle is marked Liebfraumitch, and described as a light Rhine wine.  The glazed crock has a colorful paper label which notes the wine was produced and bottled by G.G. Balthasar Diedert- Weingut- Weinkellerei- Bingen/RH and owned and imported by James B. Beam Import Company, New York, NY.  The vintage wine bottle is in good shape, with a few age appropriate dings and label tears and stains (see photo close-ups).  The vintage stoneware crock is embossed "James Beam" on the bottom and has a mark on the lower rim that I can't make out (see photo).  The corks remains in place but is damaged.  The bottles measure 11.5" tall and 2.75" wide.
NOTE: THIS IS AN EMPTY BOTTLE.  IT IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE AS A DECORATIVE PIECE.
