Description
This is a Mid Century vintage stoneware Beameister wine bottle produced for Jim Beam but imported from Germany. The vintage white bottle is marked Liebfraumitch, and described as a light Rhine wine. The glazed crock has a colorful paper label which notes the wine was produced and bottled by G.G. Balthasar Diedert- Weingut- Weinkellerei- Bingen/RH and owned and imported by James B. Beam Import Company, New York, NY. The vintage wine bottle is in good shape, with a few age appropriate dings and label tears and stains (see photo close-ups). The vintage stoneware crock is embossed "James Beam" on the bottom and has a mark on the lower rim that I can't make out (see photo). The corks remains in place but is damaged. The bottles measure 11.5" tall and 2.75" wide.NOTE: THIS IS AN EMPTY BOTTLE. IT IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE AS A DECORATIVE PIECE.
