    Vintage 1941 Member’s passes for the US House of Representatives and US Senate for the 77th Congress issued to Miss Lila Martin dated September 17th, 1941.
    The Senate pass has a printed faux signature of Senator Arthur Capper while the House pass is signed in ink by Kansas Congressman W.P. Lambertson.
    William Pernell Lambertson (1880-1957) served in the Kansas house of representatives from 1909 to 1911 then again in 1919 to 1921.
    He served in the state senate from 1913 to 1915.
    He went on to serve Kansas as a Republican Congressman in Washington from 1929 to 1945.
    Arthur Capper (1865-1951) served two terms as the Governor of Kansas from 1915 to 1919 and as Kansas US Senator from 1919 to 1949.
